Dovuto alla risposta positiva al precedente post sul grandissimo Giorgio Tozzi, ed in onore del novantesimo anniversario della sua nascita (8 gennaio 1923), ho deciso di offrirvi un altro post sull'indimenticabile basso italo-chicagoano. Qua canta "Non più andrai, farfallone amoroso" da Le Nozze di Figaro, con la Filarmonica di Vienna diretta da Erich Leinsdorf.
Due to the positive response to the previous post on the great Giorgio Tozzi, and in honor of the ninetieth anniversary of his birth (8 January 1923), I decided to offer you another post on the unforgettable Italian-Chicagoan basso. Here he sings "Non più andrai, farfallone amoroso" from The Marriage of Figaro, with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Erich Leinsdorf.
